RECORDING SECRETARY’S REPORT

President’s Welcome and Call to Order
Meeting started at 6:30 with a thank you from Suzanne Cercone for attending.

EXECUTIVE REPORT’S
Secretary’s Report
Minutes were read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report
Balance at the end of Oct. $6,174.96
Balance at the end of Nov. $29,423.21
Checks $2,221.12
Debits were $576.68
Savings account balance at the end of Sept. $7,172.51

Corresponding Secretary’s Report
We received a thank you card from Mrs. Glogowski for a memorial contribution. We also received a thank you card from Nick Vodizak for winning money for the race for education.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

BOOKFAIR
The book fair went well. We sold $ 7,700.00 in books and we gave the librarian $500.00 to pick out books. The PTA also bought every teacher a book. We ended with a profit in scholastic dollars of $3,053.68. The PTA will be buying another white board for the school.

BOXTOP
We received $677.00 for box tops and we will see what we can order for the school.

CHESS CLUB
The club has 61 members this year. They meet every Wednesday after school if it is a full day. We will need someone to take over the committee for next year.

FUNDRAISER
All the mailers are here in the music room closet if anyone wants to view them. We received $21,519.14. We may do more fundraisers in the spring and also bring back the playground committee.

SANTA SECRET SHOP
We used merchandise from The Christmas Tree Shop.

SCHOOL STORE
The next school store will be Jan. 6, 2012

SKATE NIGHT
The skate night went well.

SKI CLUB
The ski club will be at Snow Mountain on Sundays. If a paper comes home with your child that week there will be skiing the next Sunday.

SPIRIT WEAR
Spirit Wear will be delivered by Dec. 9th.

TEACHER APPRECIATION
Teacher appreciation will be next Friday. Parent will be asked to bring in desserts.

WHITE CHRISTMAS
The flyers will be sent out and donations will go to the Noxen Food Pantry.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The holiday party will be Jan. 20th at the Metro.

Central copy will be closing at the end of Dec. If you need anything copied, please give it to Mrs. James a week ahead of time.

Holiday pictures by Andy went well and will be delivered next week.

NEW BUSINESS
Madison Federici won the PTA calendar contest.

FACULTY COMMENTS
Mrs. Scalzo Thanked the PTA for the books that the teachers received. Mr. Adamshick thought that Santa secret shop went well.

PRINCIPAL COMMENTS
Mrs. Glogowski thought the book fair and Santa secret shop went well.

The next meeting will be February 1, 2012.
